Issues with CHEP Calibration cube
As for not enough cooling, it could be but I am not sure. What I mean is that when I installed Cura for the first time I set it up for the Neptune 2S using this guide. After that, I found support profiles for the Neptune 2S for Cura from here and CHEPs profiles from here. The problem is that when using the support profile from above or the CHEP profiles (the Good profile) I get this issue. But I f I use the profile from the guide that I initially set up, then I dont see this issue. But I do get similar imperfection but on a smaller scale, like this.

First print of the calibration cube
Thanks for the reply! So I sliced this in Ultimaker Cura' s latest version. I used the configuration settings from here and I also added this profile from here. My current layer settings are: Top/Bottom thickness 1.0mm Top/Bottom Layers 5. My Top/Bottom line width is 0.4mm like the nozzle and Top/Bottom Speed is 30mm. There are also different profiles, so not sure if those can make any difference. I am new to Cura and 3D printing so trying to get my machine dialed in so that I can start printing.

Anyone Modified there firmware to add manual bed leveling to a BL touch set up?
I’ve configure BLTouch with the Neptune 2S with klipper , not sure if this is helpful https://github.com/oinosme/elegoo-neptune2-2s-guide/blob/main/Firmware/Klipper/Neptune2S/Printer_Neptune2S_withBLTouch.cfg

BLTouch Neptune 2S Klipper
I've made some progress and have the pins figured out, now I'm trying to get the mesh to work: https://github.com/oinosme/elegoo-neptune2-2s-guide/issues/2

Tell me why!! 13hr build. I’m no longer getting an “err” that would happen 5min into build. But now it’s printing layers way off.
I'd recommend watching some assembly guides and reviewing all the info a kind user has assembled here.

Help I need with setting up the preview thumbnail
The mks wifi plugin should be in the marketplace. You can always upgrade to 4.13.1 and use these profiles, you will still need the mks wifi plugin but maybe it will be easier to find for a newer version of cura.
- Cura 5.0, copying printer profile from 4.x
-
ELEGOO Cura not loading
You may need to uninstall and the delete the settings folder from c:\users\ \appdata\roaming\cura\4.8\ and then reinstall, you will lose any custom settings or plugins you had doing that though. You can also try upgrading to cura 4.13, I wouldn't go to 5 yet it's still got a bunch of issues. If you upgrade you will want to add this for the profiles: https://github.com/Toylerrr/ELEGOO_Neptune2_Cura

Neptune 3 release announcement
If you're going to run Cura I would advise going to the last stable version 4.13 instead of 5, there's still bugs in 5 that need to be worked out and it doesn't have full support for all the plugins yet, also here's the cura profiles for Neptune . As far as PrusaSlicer I would recommend the SuperSlicer variation, it has a better interface imo as well as built in calibrations and several other settings and features that PrusaSlicer doesn't have, here are the printer profiles that work with either prusa or super. Marlin adds more adjustment options from the printer menu, it enables curved printing lines instead of many short straight lines (called arcwelding), enables manual filament change scripts, implements abl in a better way, communicates with octoprint much better, allows baby stepping for z height adjustments, etc.

Simplify 3D?
I highly recommend using SuperSlicer 2.4.58.2 'fishy' build for the 2D, it has the multicolor painting features from PrusaSlicer 2.4 but has the slightly better interface and the built-in calibrations and other community driven improvements that SS has over PS, and add these profiles . That's basically all I use for my 2D now, if you want to be able to use Cura 4.13 for lightning infill or tree supports here's the profiles, it works decent but the multicolor/ multimaterial functionality is highly lacking and very basic.

need some help with Cura Profiles
https://github.com/Toylerrr/ELEGOO_Neptune2_Cura there are modified chep profiles in the readme, Cura 5.1 is supposed to have the Neptune natively, also 5.0 is still buggy and has very limited plugin support, I would skip it and stick to 4.13 or skip cura all together and get SuperSlicer and use this https://github.com/andrewsuzuki/prusaslicer-elegoo-profiles

Dual Extruder Printing
Here comes the however, when I try to make my own dual extruder print it does not work. I tried Ultimaker Cura (Currently 4.13 with the profiles found here (https://github.com/Toylerrr/ELEGOO_Neptune2_Cura).

Should I use Cura that came with the printer?
I'm using Cura 5 with this profile: https://github.com/Toylerrr/ELEGOO_Neptune2_Cura The only problem is that my printer won't show The thumbnails of whats in the sd card.
What are some alternatives?
