You can try using Electron Capture (https://github.com/steveseguin/electroncapture) to visit https://vdo.ninja/ with, and capture/send video that way. (If capturing your webcam via PC) Electron Capture has all throttling limits of Chrome disabled, so it might at least avoid any issue with that.

I use ElectronCapture which launches a browser that has no toolbars at all for capturing the full window and is easily scriptable.

Finally, you can use the Electron Capture app instead of OBS Browser source to capture VDO streams. I have compiled it with M1 silicon support, so it should be very efficient. From there, you can window-capture the Electron output into OBS -- it should use very little CPU in this case. https://github.com/steveseguin/electroncapture/releases/tag/2.6.0

The solution is to not use the OBS Browser source for audio capture. Instead, you can the app I provide to avoid these OBS issues, and that is the Electron Capture app. https://github.com/steveseguin/electroncapture

I offer the Electron Capture app (https://github.com/steveseguin/electroncapture), which is a substitute for the OBS browser source, and it solves both the audio and video glitch issues I mention on the main page. It uses a relatively recent version of Chromium, never glitches the audio or video, and can actually improve audio sync and reduce CPU load.

If things still don't work, you can consider trying the Electron Capture app instead of the OBS Browser source. https://github.com/steveseguin/electroncapture While it may be more hassle to use, it tends to use less CPU, offer better audio and sync, and has fewer stream-killing bugs.

I've found good success using the Headless (NDI input) using vingester.app, assuming you have a decent CPU. The OBSN Electron app (as noted by Steve, obs.ninja creator) also works well: (https://github.com/steveseguin/electroncapture) . vMix Browser source seemed to eat up resources quicker that the two methods I mentioned previously. Let me know if you have any questions vs vmixcall. Also worth mentioning advanced.vmixcall.com is out of beta and available, though I can't remember if this is still limited to 720p.

Another consideration is, if you are usually capturing the exact same web page (like perhaps a stream elements overlay or similar) is to use Vingster.app (free and open source) which says it also works for Mac.

there is Vingester if that's something you do often but I find that I'm doing a lot of that work with a browser source inside OBS now

also don't do anything else on your computer while recording, and I'd recommend using something like (free) Vingester to make it easier to capture the window.

You could use an app like https://vingester.app/ to create an NDI stream of each page and convert those to SDI using the many Birddog/magewell/Kiloview options.

I work overlays in streaming with SPX-GC (https://github.com/TuomoKu/SPX-GC) which feeds HTML via a virtual server and read those with Vingester (https://vingester.app/), a headless browser, to NDI. There are other tools that do this for framesharing like SPOUT (https://ultralig.ht/) and pretty sure something for an apple variant (Syphon has been suspended, right?)

I found the soluction which works really, i mean - REALLY - good. On mixer side I use Vingerster https://vingester.app/ to get the video (it can emulate OBS, which i required to get data from Ninja). Vingester outputs the video to NDI and that I can get the stream to OBS on main mixing comupter. The video is flawless, no jagging.

You can also just capture the desktop-audio or use https://vingester.app/ (vingester) to capture audio/video from VDO.Ninja. Apps like Vmix and probably Manycam support VDO.Ninja, and would also I'd imagine bypass the problem, rather than using OBS directly for browser capture.

So, I've been using VDO.Ninja and Vingester to pull WebRTC live video from anyone using the Chrome Browser and into a wireframed OBS Studio environment for my live production, and it works beautifully. The issue though is I have a client that wants something more "user friendly" for guests - and they are willing to pay for it. I've been doing some research, and I see Cicso Webex a lot.
