Snowden leak: Cavium networking hardware may contain NSA backdoor
So in real life terms, what does this mean for people that own USG3s? If you're so inclined, replace it? Or not use the VPN feature in the Unifi admin console?
Personally, I just forward all WireGuard traffic to another computer on my network and use https://github.com/burghardt/easy-wg-quick to setup a simple VPN.

Build your own private WireGuard VPN with PiVPN
I'm using https://github.com/burghardt/easy-wg-quick for this. It works beautifully. I simply port forward to my raspberry pi that handles all of this.

'sudo wg show' not showing anything
I have some issues setting up wireguard on a linux manjaro system. Basically, i only want to connect my iPhone with this server. So i used easy-wg-quick as this makes things easier. easy-wg-quick creates a random port while setting up, lets say 12345. Thispport is forwarded in my router settings so i can reach my linux system from outside. After everything is done, i'll get a qr code which i can scan with my iphone and the wireguard app. The config file seems to be okay as i can configure this profile. At this point i'm thinking "ok this should work" and i connect to the vpn with mobile connection and do the `sudo wg show` to see if something is happening. But nothing. `sudo wg show` gives me no output at all. https://ibb.co/PmM7TCw

Hollywood’s Fight Against VPNs Turns Ugly
If you trust any VPS like AWS, or GCP ( or Linode in my case ), you can host your own Wireguard VPN too with this easy script (here ) ( this also looks very promising )

Are there any free, decent VPNs for Linux I can use for torrenting?
I used this repo

Can't acess many websites with jio fiber. Some popular websites work but most other websites aren't loading.
If you wanna host your own vpn ( with static ip sadly ), try this repo, also Netflix wouldn't work with this method. Host as close as possible ( mumbai )

Netmaker/Tailscale Vs Traditional VPNs

Is it possible to make a phone connect to a server without having to open any ports on the server side ?
I suggest running a VPN server like wireguard (very easy to install on phone and set up using https://github.com/wg-easy/wg-easy) and have the port open only to that. The VPN will do the rest in terms of NATing ports and whatnot.
