eww bar with dwm
I've never used eww, but I've seen some of the configurations (not in dwm) which use shell commands like wmctrl to change workspaces and such. I believe you could accomplish most of the things you need with dwm-ipc, which has a command-line utility called dwm-msg.

semi-scratchpads
Just to give a heads up I added a new feature SemiScratchpad that allows for normal windows to be temporarily pulled into view like a scratchpad, but when they are toggled away they go back to where they were before rather than simply vanishing like normal scratchpads do.

What is duskwm ?
Dusk is a Tiling Window Manager created by u/bakkeby He also made dwm-flexipatch where you can manage most of dwm's tags. Later he created dusk, a twm with lots of dwm functions in it but without the need to ever patch it again. Dusk is very flexible and well documented. Also Dusk is actively maintained and rock solid. You can find all about dusk here: https://github.com/bakkeby/dusk Good starting point is the Wiki! Have fun with this great windowmanager!
