dump1090 help
I think you would have to mkdir -p /run/dump1090 if your install script didn't do that for you already. But this isn't gonna be super useful and you probably need to shift it to be compatible with the public_html folder.

Building own receiver without sharing to other feeders
If you don't want to feed any of the sites you don't have to, just install the decoder. I would recommend using wiedehopf's fork of readsb (which is a fork of dump1090) and tar1090 for a map display. He has a script which will install it here: https://github.com/wiedehopf/adsb-scripts/wiki/Automatic-installation-for-readsb

I'd recommend to install this: https://github.com/wiedehopf/adsb-scripts/wiki/Automatic-installation-for-readsb The link also shows you how to check the logs for this decoder. Install it and check the log, then put the log on pastebin.com and link it here.
