The open source project is here. I don't think there's official mod support yet, but they have a bunch of documentation to get people started.

Duelyst 2 is the original and official version of the dead duelyst game. Duelyst GG is a clone with customization beyond recognition and it doesn't really indicate balance at all. It started as private server and once Royalty free release initiated by the official team Duelyst GG turned from private unethical variant to public ethical variant. The difference that duelyst 2 offers the promises and the same game play original duelyst players are familiar with. As for duelyst GG, it is way too user-friendly that you may not have any part in it but only influencers do. I don't want to criticize Duelyst GG due of my prefix but I want to say I always vouch for the original staff behind the original game. It is for the sake of confidentiality and more than anything they are the master minds in design and game development to begin with so they have the absolute credits in being premier and showing game promise than anyone else. Original game died, devs decided to open source the entire game including all assets: https://github.com/open-duelyst/duelyst. Duelyst 2 is not a sequel, just the most popular fan launch so far. The name should've reflected that to avoid confusion, something corny like Duelyst: Reborn.

I don't fully agree with all of the reasoning, but it's a reasonable position to stake.

If you forget what parametrisation and functions are, then Roc's modules look like they actually do that.

Elm is really functional, unlike the likes of React that are just partially, kind of functional.

What are your thoughts on the direct descendant, Roc? [0] I know it's pre v0.1 so maybe you don't have any, but as a fellow Elm lover it seems pretty compelling on the surface albeit less directly frontend-dev focused.

Check out Roc[0][1] by Richard Feldman; it's early-stages (perhaps earlier stages than Elm?) but from everything I've seen it looks a bit like a spiritual successor to Elm, though focused more on native applications (but still seems to have its sights set on webassembly support too)
