Taz 3 Frankenprinter- board upgrade question
I got you. Having hacked across multiple lulzbots, firmware variants and controller boards myself, I'll point out two things: I've found Drunken Octopus to be a better-organized (and thus easer to alter settings for compilation) lulzbot-specific Marlin than stock Lulzbot repos. I've also found Klipper (which I now run on all my printers) to be super-helpful for supporting non-stock upgraded machines. Because you can change settings and update without recompiling, it really helps to get a printer up and running without getting bogged-down in the firmware delta between stock and not.

Can someone please help me out? I’m trying to flash my software for BLtouch on my ender 3 but I can’t get past this. I’ve been absolutely stomped for about two weeks.
That's [how I did it](https://github.com/xan105/Ender-3-Pro/tree/master/Melzi#flash-with-the-isp-from-the-creality-bltouch-kit) back in the days before switching to a SKR mini.
What are some alternatives?
