    We do exactly this at my company and it's worked well. We use the asp.net core integration test feature to be able to test with an http client, and use xUnit fixtures to fire up a fresh database instance cloned from a templates database running in a docker container for each test. I am using this doomed database library for that with a PostgreSQL instance - https://github.com/uhaciogullari/doomed-databases
