I need ideas for my new project
As for features: Additional Docker statistics (something like doku) would be nice, maybe even with integrated docker logs viewer like dozzle. This could change the name of your application from X Panel to Mighty Panel :-P. I have no idea how hard those things would be to implement, just suggestions I'd find useful.

How do you keep track of used ports for your containers?
As far as I know, the main Flame repo is abandoned. fdarveau/flame is being somewhat maintained. So keep that in mind.

Is there any docker dashboard that auto detect the services ?
Could look at a dashboard like Plugsy or Flame (fork that supports categories). They are automatically added to the dashboard with the use of docker labels.

Praise for Flame Dashboard
There's an actively maintained fork by fdarveau that adds categories. It works very well and it's even a drop-in replacement. I recommend using it instead of the official container.

Dashboard: Flame alternative with categories that is not resource intensive?
Apparently there is a fork that does add categories https://github.com/fdarveau/flame. Will also test myself
