Simple Docker Container to list the files in a directory on a web page ?
You may want to take a look at webdav. I have been running this one on my pi. https://github.com/dgraziotin/docker-nginx-webdav-nononsense I don't remember if there's a image available already or if I had to build it.

backup service hosted on RPI for desktop and mobile
imao keep it simple A web server serving files is all you need I ended up using a docker container with a nginx sever with webdav plugin. This Then use caddy to reverse proxy it and add ssl To sync with android I use foldersync (fully featured with adds but worth paying for it) You can Mount the webdav server on androud on any webdav capable filemanager to copy paste stuff

For a personal in-home cloud, what's best: Nextcloud, Owncloud or Syncthing
Just a file server would be enough Actually more than enough It would be the faster, best way to go And if you are unfamiliar with setting up your webserver there are docker projects eg no nonsense webdav or Dave

How to install plugins using the Docker container?
I'm using the crazy-max/docker-rtorrent-rutorrent container. This image is not pre-packaged with lots of plugins I would normally find when renting a seedbox. I can't even delete torrents from my file system (I'm limited to removing the torrents from the client interface itself).

rtorrent/rutorrent new Docker image?
https://github.com/crazy-max/docker-rtorrent-rutorrent seems popular but it does so much it's extremely confusing and I see it uses Traefik and when I tried to configure that last I just failed. I want none of this. Frankly, if I didn't fear for a massive breach on my existing server I wouldn't move because the experience is that everything newer is always worse. I was happiest before systemd existed. Simpler times.

NPM closing keepalive connecction on rutorrent proxy host
I have setup rutorrent on docker and port forwarded through NPM. Everything's seem to work fine except when I try to add torrents in rutorrent and start downloading , it automatically switches to "pausing" mode. After checking logs in rutorrent container, it repeatedly outputs the following;

Docker, rutorrent, remapping folder destinations?
I installed this https://github.com/crazy-max/docker-rtorrent-rutorrent By doing the command line from the github, only I replaced the puid and pgid with my own, other than that no changes. For reference:

Removing a broken torrent from rtorrent
I have an rTorrent/ruTorrent setup on a VPS, using this docker container. It seems using this container, I cannot access rTorrent CLI directly - just ruTorrent or XMLRPC (which I'm not at all familiar with).

I'm using rutorrent docker container found here: https://github.com/crazy-max/docker-rtorrent-rutorrent
