    • I have an rTorrent/ruTorrent setup on a VPS, using this docker container. It seems using this container, I cannot access rTorrent CLI directly - just ruTorrent or XMLRPC (which I'm not at all familiar with).

    • This won't help you much but I'm curious why would you setup your rtorrent/rutorrent using a container? It is perfectly fine (and easy) to just use one of those auto installers, e.g. https://github.com/nilankadesilva/rutorrent_auto to get you up and running within minutes. Really no need to use fancy containers doing God knows what. I would honestly avoid those, at least in this case.
