🦙 Llama - It really kicks the amps' ass (Plexamp inspired Music Player)
Lidarr handles your music downloads, sorts them and adds the correct metadata for your library to be picked up by Jellyfin. It will also upgrade your media if a better version is found. https://lidarr.audio/ there is also lidarr extended, which has extra features https://github.com/RandomNinjaAtk/docker-lidarr-extended

trying lidarr-extended for tidal-dl as download source
I just found tidal-dl and would like that to be my download source. lidarr-extended suppposedly allows this, but tidal-dl doesn't show up as a source, and I can't find anything in the repo describing how to use tidal-dl to handle downloads/index items.

lidarr-on-steroids
Switched to https://github.com/RandomNinjaAtk/docker-lidarr-extended . It's no integration on the UI, but rather scripts in the background grabbing the missing/cutoff not met albums from lidarr and trying to download them from deezer or tidal. Works like a charm.

Searching for a server-side music downloader
Yeah it's working on the background. From the wiki : ``` How is music found? (process)

FWIW, I'm using lidarr-extended, not the linuxserver or other instances.

lidarr-on-steroids now with ARM support and Deemix plugin auto-update
Like the idea, but actually I think lidarr-extented (https://github.com/RandomNinjaAtk/docker-lidarr-extended) has a more consistent approach. This tool grabs the wanted/cutoff unmet list on a shedule and searches for the albums in deezer and/or tidal and imports them into lidarr. Tagging can be done via beets or lidarr (on import). Even can download the videos as an extra.

Using with set webhook in a Docker container
I'm using Lidarr extended docker image from RandomNinjaAtk. The standard Lidarr notifications work fine but there is an option to have an alert about the 'extended' scripts via the included webhook in the container.

What's yout preferred selfhosted music streaming suite?
Navidrome can also read and generate playlists from a .m3u8 file. My music setup is similar. Spotify playlists are converted to Tidal playlists which gets downloaded. Once Navidrome scans the tracks, I use a Golang CLI that I developed music-utils which attempts to find the Tidal playlist tracks in Navidrome's database. If tracks are found they get added/updated to the playlist's m3u8 file.
