Auto Update script
Lastly, yes, keeping up-to-date is important, but I still don't update automatically. I update regularly, but not at fixed intervalls, whenever I have the time. I'm there and can intervene in case of disaster (as recently happened because this introduced a backwards-incompatible change). Most people don't update automatically for this reason. It might break things and lock you out at unexpected times, when you can't fix it.

Deciding how to structure my server
You sould use docker compose with seperate networks and hostnames (don't forget to add caddy to it) so no ip's Here i foud a example with nginx so just remove it and add caddy

Ghost and nginx reverse proxy , something broke trying to revive it.
I haven't tested this just yet however looking at it I believe it should work. There's also the docker-compose-ghost-quickstart project that you might find useful.
