Help with massive Photos library please
I followed this instructions to ssh into my synology nas and install the package and download all my photos https://www.reddit.com/r/synology/comments/10hw71g/comment/j5f8bd8/ If you want to use docker it should be very similar. There is also a docker container on github that a lot of people use https://github.com/boredazfcuk/docker-icloudpd

Future first-time NAS user here (Synology DS1522+). I have decades of photos and videos, and I'd like to import them the "right" way.
I intend to use iCloudPhotosDownloader to backup approximately 5 family member's photo libraries. If anyone has advice on the best way to do this and incorporate it with my other photo archives, that'd be great!

Every pricing page should have GIFs
They may have tried to open arbitrary mp4s and had Firefox not render it.
Firefox seems to only render MP4 files that use yuv colorspace and aa3 audio channels, which require specific ffmpeg flags during transcoding. It took me a day of grinding whackamole to find the magic set of arguments to make all recent, popular browsers actually display a video:
