Find item. how good is it for trav? anybody got a napkin for some basic calculations?
With the confirmed buff to find item and a lot of wonder on YT and the forums, I thought it best to give the facts. correct me where I did wrong. these calculations are for P1. you by yourself grinding trav in search for loot. this will be different for different areas. I use https://github.com/fabd/diablo2/blob/master/code/d2_113_data/TreasureClassEx.txt to look at line 706 for Council (H). Is there a list or website that has info of the color of unique items when equipped?
Find a file uniqueitems.txt (or setitems.txt for, well, set items) - either online or extract it from the game. 1.13 source here - a bit outdated, but I believe there were no changes there. You can open such files in Excel, as they are in TSV (tab separated values) format.

No. They are from 1.13c, numbers were much worse before that. I have calculated all of the rune drop chances by myself in Excel based on 1.13c TreasureClassEx file, source. Same confirmed by preppypoof, author of the initial HR guide. The rest is players X scaling. Please do not claim something is not from 1.13, unless you provide full source and calcs that can back that up. I have laid out my calcs and sources used.

what level of hydra skill do travincal council member use?
TLDR: lvl9, +120% fire damage. Against players pvp penalty is applied (1/6 damage received), that's why merc dies so much faster. Monster skill levels are listed in MonStats.txt, don't know the source for the additional fire bonus.
