DFHack 50.05-alpha1 has been released!
Stonesense has always been a bit temperamental. There are some long-standing reports of crashes on the github page: https://github.com/DFHack/stonesense but they might not be of any help to you. If you could upload a save to DFFD and file a bug on GitHub, we'll take a look eventually - likely after we've solidified this release a bit
