Everything you hate about Deno
No, I was trying to connect to a DigitalOcean managed database. I think I was using npm:mongodb as well as https://deno.land/x/mongo

Bluesky has launched RSS feeds
I'm using https://bluestream.deno.dev/ which does include embedded media.
I've one test user I'm following where I have an RSS feed from Bluestream and one directly with Bluesky. When they reach parity I'll swap over.

Bluesky makes web view public, login no longer required to read posts
RSS feeds of user accounts was another addition. They're a bit average though in that they don't have media (i.e., images) in the feed. I'll keep using https://bluestream.deno.dev/ for now.

Missing features RSS news app
Twitter "supports" RSS through Nitter. Also some people are ditching Twitter for Bluesky, which I hope becomes more of a trend because that has less hostile RSS functionality through tools like Firesky and Bluestream.

What is Bluesky Social Network? And why are developers excited about it?
RSS feeds. If you’re not on Bluesky yet, but you know the handle of someone who is and you want to know what they’re talking about, there’s a way to do that. Or if you’re on Bluesky and you want to share your content outside of the platform, you can share your content through an RSS reader. You can check out Bluestream, a TypeScript + Deno project live here.
