deemix-docker VS slskd

Ah i mis-interpreted and thought you were in germany. Don't know wether Deezer is available in your market. "Extracting" from Deezer is not an official deezer feature, its rather "ripping" flacs from their API (against Deezer's TOS of course). But made very easy with projects like https://gitlab.com/Bockiii/deemix-docker

I'm using saltbox.dev which pull this image.

Deemix is good for Deezer songs, which can easily be converted from Spotify. However, there is Spotify integration built in, although I don't know how to get it working.

spotify playlist -> deemix docker -> folders -> emby

you can also try to just use an older image (see https://gitlab.com/Bockiii/deemix-docker/container_registry/1143119 for tags) but the last version upgrade was 3 months ago, so I assume its your custom swag config that is the problem.

Most spotify downloader projects can ingest a spotify playlist and lookup the songs on other platforms (download the songs from deezer or youtube). For that i can recommend "deemix" https://gitlab.com/Bockiii/deemix-docker

In order to use this with the docker image, you only need to add an environment variable to your call ( see the Readme file in the repo).

Hey guys, it worked! I had a look at the logs and found out it this issue is what was happening. It's weird because the OS is up to date.

If you're looking for an API, there's slskd which runs as a daemon and offers a REST API for searching and downloading.

There's even an example daemon that can give remote access, so you wouldn't even have to have Soulseek and Seeker on the same computer: https://github.com/slskd/slskd

It’s not cli, but you could try slskd in a container - it has a nice web interface.

Hi, I just stumbled upon slskd (https://github.com/slskd/slskd), and I'm struggling to configure it. I've downloaded the binary and executed it with command line and it created a config file. It keeps saying the login and password are wrong no matter what i put there. Also I have no idea how it can open the web UI. I think I'mm missing many things. I appreciate the help.

I had a similar problem: I wanted to run a Soulseek client on my home server / NAS. I eventually opted for https://github.com/slskd/slskd which provides a web interface, even though Nicotine+ is superior. Let's hope either slskd improves or Nicotine+ gets a remote control option (it can already run headlessly, so I guess develop is in progress).

Saw a post over on /r/DataHoarder regarding SLSKD. Hadn't heard of it before. Anyone vouch for it?

And, if you prefer a self hosted web app, you'll like slskd.
