Shopping cart packages for building a webshop?
I’m doing a e-commerce project using Laravel, and I was wondering if there are some good shopping cart packages out there. I know of https://github.com/Crinsane/LaravelShoppingcart and https://github.com/darryldecode/laravelshoppingcart, but I’m not really sure if one of them is more recommended to use of up to date. Or would writing my own shopping cart logic be a better option, since all I need it adding and removing items from the shopping card (where every item has an associated product)?

Laravel considered harmful
I think it would be difficult (or much harder) to build something like Sylius on top of Laravel. Especially if you want good code-coverage by tests.

Checkout Sylius. Try to run it and modify it in some way. Pretty big codebase and project. If you can modify it without directly rewriting the Syius code (like overloading Symfony services and so on...) you can be confident in your skills.
