Crystal Lang 1.0 Release
Crystal has been my language for my passion project (https://gitlab.com/maxpert/crlocator). I can tell you the speed and magical ruby syntax is unbelievably good (not for everyone’s taste). I just wish a better IDE support now. Since I’ve used Kotlin I’ve been spoiled by the IDE. But I assume it should be relatively straightforward because it’s all static typed.

Crystal v1.0.0 has been released!
Crystal has been my language of choice for my passion project (Shameless plug https://gitlab.com/maxpert/crlocator ). I can’t emphasize enough how much performance I am able to squeeze out of it without any dirty syntax. I just wish for a better IDE now. Since I’ve used Kotlin I’ve been spoiled.

If I wanted to modify the Kotlin grammar, how would I go about doing that?
As of right now, Arrow Meta is the only library I am aware of with which you can productively write compiler plugins.
