toupper SIMD implementation (and question regarding compilation flags)
I was unable to find any details regarding this message online. This github issue seems to be the same problem that I ultimately have, though no explanation appears to have been given in that thread.

I just started mining GRLC with crappy hardware and I'm having a blast figuring it out! Can everyone link their favorite mining software? Everything I'm finding is at least 3 years old.
Using cpuminer-opt, I get about 150 kh/s per thread. So assuming you have at least a 4 core/8 thread CPU that is 1.2Mh/s, or about a quarter of the hashrate of a GTX 1060. Obviously this scales with cpu cores.

Mining
However 2.8 MH/s also seems low for a powerful card. I'm afraid I'm not too familiar with AMD. Could you perhaps bring this up to the miner developer by opening an issue on Github with what you have experienced? If there is something he can fix I am sure he will, he has always been very responsive when I have reached out to him. https://github.com/fancyIX/sgminer-phi2-branch/issues
