The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.

I tried to define how checked exceptions could work in C++. Feedback/help welcome!
Bad alloc is indeed a big problem, as I agree it would be basically present in any function. I'm wondering if what Herb Sutter is proposing could be the solution: https://github.com/hsutter/babb
