A new, reworked ScalaDoc is here!
I feel like this is already is the case, one can use coursier https://get-coursier.io/ or scala-cli to get started with Scala extremely fast.

Scala is close to having an amazing Jupyter Notebook experience for data science workflows
I had a nice workflow installing different Java versions using SDKMAN but switched to Coursier because that't what's recommended in the Almond installation guide. In order to run `jupter lab` and start up the notebook environment, I need to separately install Jupyter Lab via conda (and activate that conda environment).

Splitting software into multiple applications and libraries. Most practical ways!
Could a Java project use a similar scheme? Probably, but the practicality of that is dependent on programatic resolution tools like coursier which don't exist in a convenient form for Java programmers quite yet.

SBT CodeArtifact - An SBT plugin to publish artifacts to AWS CodeArtifact.
I'm digging a bit deeper on this Google Artifact Repository task and it looks like it won't. See https://github.com/coursier/coursier/issues/1987 for more details.

What's the value proposition of meta circular interpreters?
I've tried researching this myself and can't find too much. There's this project metaes which is an mci for JS, and there's the SCI module of the Clojure babashka project, but that's about it. I also saw Triska's video on mci but it was pretty theoretical.

Adding Dependencies on Clojure Project the Node Way: A Small Intro to neil CLI
Created by the same guy who created babashka which is a way to write bash scripts, node scripts, and even apple scripts using Clojure. A very proficient and influential developer in the Clojure community. This is how borkduke's neil helps us:

Critique of Lazy Sequences in Clojure
Clojure's lazy sequences by default are wonderful ergonomically, but it provides many ways to use strict evaluation if you want to. They aren't really a hassle either. I've been doing Clojure for the last few years and have a few grievances, but overall it's the most coherent, well thought out language I've used and I can't recommend it enough.
There is the issue of startup time with the JVM, but you can also do AOT compilation now so that really isn't a problem. Here are some other cool projects to look at if you're interested:

Are there any languages (that are in common use in companies) and higher-level that give you the same feeling of simplicity and standardization as C?
I've enjoyed babashka for scripting; which is close enough to clojure to allow using some/many libraries; but (probably) not for embedding.
What are some alternatives?
sbt-groll - sbt plugin to roll the Git history
janet - A dynamic language and bytecode vm
sbt-revolver - An SBT plugin for dangerously fast development turnaround in Scala
malli - High-performance data-driven data specification library for Clojure/Script.
sbt-dependency-graph - sbt plugin to create a dependency graph for your project
joker - Small Clojure interpreter, linter and formatter.
sbt-docker - Create Docker images directly from sbt
nbb - Scripting in Clojure on Node.js using SCI
sbt-codeartifact - An sbt plugin for publishing packages to AWS CodeArtifact.
clojure-lsp - Clojure & ClojureScript Language Server (LSP) implementation
sbt-native-packager - sbt Native Packager
racket - The Racket repository
