How long for geth to sync?
It's been many days since I tried with "fast" mode, but I think it kept saying something like this: https://github.com/etclabscore/core-geth/issues/204
- The hot-fix security release in Geth is also applicable to Core-geth nodes in #EthereumClassic which is a super majority of the network nodes. Core-geth node operators on #ETC should update their software to v1.12.1 ASAP.

Is Eth classic on your radar?
Plus, there's very little development on Eth Classic, checkout the difference in activity from Ethereum's Geth client and Ethereum Classic's Geth client. Plus, there's little-to-no DeFi on ETC.
