For libraries I use at work, cmap has a v2 using generics. I think that's a fairly widely used library. The events library we use is updated, but not released. When I get a chance, planning on looking on moving to hooks, which does have released generics support.

What are some alternatives?

When comparing concurrent-map and monproc you can also consider the following projects:

btree - BTree provides a simple, ordered, in-memory data structure for Go programs.

fdlr - A command line tool for file downloads

TtlMap - A golang map in which entries expire after given a time period

CpuRoller - Simple CPU usage desktop application available on Windows, Mac OS and Linux, built with Wails (made under #100DaysOfCode challenge)

set - Thread(Safe/Unsafe) Set data structure for Go.

pyroscope - Continuous Profiling Platform. Debug performance issues down to a single line of code

go-left-right - A faster RWLock primitive in Go, 2-3 times faster than RWMutex. A Go implementation of concurrency control algorithm in paper <Left-Right - A Concurrency Control Technique with Wait-Free Population Oblivious Reads>

CPU-Scheduling

verify - Extensible, type-safe, fluent assertion Go library.

golangchannels - For goroutines and channels, I created an application using a Dispatcher -> Worker -> Job pattern to benchmark and compare results in differing scenarios. These comparisons would allow me to see how the same pattern operated under types of loads and hopefully uncover some situations where this was an optimal pattern to follow.

learn-go-concepts - This is a repo for Golang concepts and their practical implementation

gosynflood - Demonstrates a synflood DDOS attack with raw sockets (for Ubuntu and Debian-like distros)
