Why emacs reaction is so sloow?
Suppose you use company-mode for auto completion. See https://github.com/redguardtoo/company-ctags/ It's way faster than VSCode. Tested with 50000+ files of Linux kernel code)..

On the whole, my previous config was terrible. Overlapping/unnecessary modes will not only slow you down, but may also cause unintended side effects. Here's my config, if it helps.
