Hello, I need to create a GAS which will run using service account privileges. This requires authenticating through Oauth2, and this would be usually done using Github's shared Oauth library for GAS.

Yeah that is something. You need the Apps script OAuth2 library and code the html to create the login popup.

Hello so I’m fairly good with Google scripts and have built loads of tools for my work to automate a lot of stuff. I have very minimal or basic knowledge on APIs though. So I’ve read through the documentation on asana developers and have understood that I need an oAuth 2.0 connection so now I’m trying to build that connection using Google app scripts already existing library for oAuth 2.0 but I feel like I’m over exhausting myself and not connecting any dots. Please don’t just redirect me to this link .... I’ve already looked into it and sadly the first 2 methods do not even work for me so I am very lost.

App Script (https://developers.google.com/apps-script) is the scripting language to customise/program Google sheets.

Took me a few steps by Yandex reverse image search, but looks like the logo for Google Apps Script for some reason emblazoned on a 1980s era brick or wood backdrop.

There are many learning resources online. Maybe a better way to learn is to have some goals in mind first. The goals might be some specific automation you want to build or a project in mind. App Script is what automates Google Sheets, similar to what VBA does for Excel
