LiceCAP - crappy name, but lets you record great animated gifs, and mouse-clicks and set the framerate at will. great for sending "this is what happens when i click on something" type reports to people.

LICEcap is a free program for creating an animated GIF, this program can be found here https://www.cockos.com/licecap/ It is very simple and useful, you can set the frame rate and the size very easily. The frame rate I use is 3-4 frames per second and manually count to 4 seconds. This will usually give around 12-16 frames (depending how much animation there is on the product).
