How do you get product images and descriptions etc for your personal project sites?
awhile ago, faced with a similar situation, i took the statically-generated route, and built an open source shopping cart library called shopper, so that anybody can embed shopify products onto any website. we're currently running it in production on a successful ecommerce store. if you're using shopify, feel free to use shopper, if you find it useful.

i created shopper as a free open source cart ui, so i could place a shopify store onto any website. if you need to modify shopper or add features for your own needs, i'd be happy to accept pull requests and we could collaborate on it so everybody wins. cheers
