How to change GDM background?

Trisquel with GNOME
When you first boot up your system after installing GNOME and removing MATE, your login manager will be very Ubuntu-themed, i.e. purple and orange. This isn't a huge problem, but it's an easy one to fix. There isn't a built-in method of doing that in GNOME, but there's a script on GitHub that you can download and trick into believing that you're actually running Ubuntu 20.04 LTS by changing line 14 to distro=focal and removing the if statement in lines 35 through 39 to just say gdm3Resource=/usr/share/gnome-shell/theme/Yaru/gnome-shell-theme.gresource.
- is there a way to change the login screen instead of this ugly gray background ?

Getting "oh no! something has gone wrong." error
Today by mistake I used this https://github.com/thiggy01/gdm-background to change my login screen background. After reboot I am getting this error https://imgur.com/a/uk0dFHM My current pop os version is 21.10. But that application does not support that.

Panel loses transparency after 21.10 Upgrade
I upgraded my machine two weeks ago. Got the notification and just clicked and followed the process. (I updated the recovery partition first). After everything was done, I noticed all my gnome extensions are not installed. I encountered an issue when I changed the GDDM background using https://github.com/thiggy01/gdm-background. System freezes in the login manager itself.
