Crypto.org NFTs are essentially Cosmos tokens, but minted from a custom Cosmos module originally forked from Irisnet's x/nft implementation (https://www.irisnet.org/docs/features/nft.html). Take a look at the amount of work they're putting into the technology behind the platform (it's all open source). I'm not going to call it for anybody else, but you could build a ponzi on a lot less actual work.
