To do this we're going to need the capacitor community fcm package which can be found here. Once you've installed the package you'll need to go into Xcode and inside your project click on the AppDelegate file and import firebase like so:

an amazing set of integrations with tools that provide a full experience for a developer. I am biased on this one but it seems to me that Firebase dominates the early startup space so you could invest in maintaining your own set of integrations. The ones in capacitor-community were abandoned for quite some time and actually don't even work together
