Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Is there a way to create a Linux version of this automotive diagnostic tool/lab scope?
CAN is just glorified ethernet. https://github.com/linux-can/can-utils
-
BUSMASTER successor?
I use a USB2CAN and the Linux SocketCAN can-utils.
- Got dropped into an embedded linux project and don't know where to begin.
-
reading CanBus on linux
Use the "SocketCAN Driver for Linux" from their support page and then you can use any of the CAN-Utils programs: https://github.com/linux-can/can-utils

Any SW engineers in the automotive industry?
For testing I found the CANtact more than adequate. Worked very well with Linux which has the SocketCAN system that basically lets you treat the CAN bus as a network socket. Great tooling exists in can-utils to help you do quick tests, debug a CAN network, and the sniffer is a great help for reverse engineering.

ISOBUS compliant device
The Linux-CAN package appears to have some J1939/ISOBUS tools as part of can-utils.

Lysmarine-BBN project out of beta, 32 and 64 bit downloads available for RPI
SocketCAN, NMEA 2000, can-utils

Feedback for new ESP32 based OBD2 adapter
I'm using slcand (to create a "normal" CAN device from SLCAN), candump and cansniffer from the can-utils package on Linux. It is available as a package in Ubuntu, probably also on other distributions. https://github.com/linux-can/can-utils

Receiving Weather Satellite Images Using SatDump
GOES sats are geostationary but the NOAA APT satellites are encircling the planet and you can pick them up. Old tutorial but still relevant, just use "noaa-apt" tool[0] instead of WXtoImg. https://www.rtl-sdr.com/rtl-sdr-tutorial-receiving-noaa-weat...

- Hi 2
- SDR# and NOAA Satellites
- Made a very simple 137 MHz dipole V antenna, made out of copper brazing rods and a terminal block and this is the first picture of NOAA 18 I got from it, also it picks up 250 MHz Satcom pirate transmissions rather well. Much better than my pa0rdt antenna which adds a bunch of noise!
-
Why the image is so small?
Sometimes WXtoIMG just discards parts of the recoding when the signal wasn't strong enough. In those cases I've had some luck running the recorded .wav file through noaa-apt to get the full image.
-
Images pulled with RTL-SDR antenna NOAA
so the NOAA_APT decoder link on your guide did not work properly, By chance did you mean this link https://noaa-apt.mbernardi.com.ar/?
-
At least as long as they're not using the dev container...
So far I only use it for noaa-apt program though.
-
WXtoImg not decoding images
Had this exact problem, the thing that I found is that GQRX records at the wrong sample rate, which WXtoImg can’t handle. However, https://noaa-apt.mbernardi.com.ar this utility did work for me. I’ll also note that WFM is the setting I use in GQRX, not AM
-
Does anyone know whats happening here?
You should try noaa-apt too, it usually gives better results for me.
