Migrating from LastPass to Bitwarden - opinions?
This sounds like an XY Problem. It sounds like you're missing a good IAP solution to deal with access controls. Something like oauth2_proxy, Keycloak, Pomerium, etc. Hell, I've even set up a basic IAP with Caddy and Oauth Portal.

Caddy (v2) or the Swag container
Caddy doesn't have built-in "forwardauth" support right now, but there is a plugin that provides support for it https://github.com/trusch/caddy-extauth although it's a bit unpolished right now. That could be paired with https://github.com/lucaslorentz/caddy-docker-proxy to configure Caddy via docker labels.
What are some alternatives?
Keycloak - Open Source Identity and Access Management For Modern Applications and Services
Nginx Proxy Manager - Docker container for managing Nginx proxy hosts with a simple, powerful interface
oauth2-proxy - A reverse proxy that provides authentication with Google, Azure, OpenID Connect and many more identity providers.
authentik - The authentication glue you need.

MFA/2FA with App Authenticators and Yubico. π Authorization with JWT/PASETO tokens. π
dex - OpenID Connect (OIDC) identity and OAuth 2.0 provider with pluggable connectors
vouch-proxy - an SSO and OAuth / OIDC login solution for Nginx using the auth_request module
Pomerium - Pomerium is an identity and context-aware reverse proxy for zero-trust access to web applications and services.
docker-swag - Nginx webserver and reverse proxy with php support and a built-in Certbot (Let's Encrypt) client. It also contains fail2ban for intrusion prevention.
