Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Is there any way to insert Markdown elements with "/" shortcut?
You could go to options -> core plugins and enable the "Slash commands" plugin. There's also this community plugin that adds a text editor modal.

There are some plugins like cmenu to add some click-based formatting, or customizable menu that can add them into right-click menus.

Use of IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) or Unicode from inside Obsidian?
Templater lets you insert templates with custom keyboard shortcuts. CMenu adds a small menu at the bottom of the screen that you can fill with any command in Obsidian, including custom ones added by Templater.

Notion is so slow it is almost unusable.
I think there's no toolbar, only WYSIWYG. There are plugins that help with this, like: Markdown Formatting Assitant and CMenu. i know that a plugin doesn't solve the issue, there's a post in the Obsidian Forum talking about this.
