Acer nitro 5 + linux mint -> change screen brightness

Need help with getting OpenRGB to work on my laptop
I have a Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-54 and when I click the scan devices button my keyboard doest appear. I found some people online saying that this works but I have windows and not linux so idk what to do.

try this FOSS programm: https://github.com/JafarAkhondali/acer-predator-turbo-and-rgb-keyboard-linux-module I've managed to get it working today as I needed it to change lights because keyboard light wasn t persistent after a shutdown(it was after a reboot tho, surprisingly enough).
