www.bitaddress.org is one of the oldest tools you can use the address format is the old format, but it works just the same. You sent to the public key (you SHARE it like your bank account number). Let people know that's your account, and they'll know your transaction history, so keep that private.)

where can I download software on PC to brute force bitcoin? just for the fun to try
That said there is software for making vanity addresses (eg addresses starting with a prefix you want like 1Boat) https://github.com/exploitagency/vanitygen-plus You could give this thing whole addresses. But that chance of finding the private key for an address is essentially zero.
