Best option for a controller for original c64?
There's adaptors out there for a few different things like nintendo controllers, sega controllers etc Don't just plug a sega controller in, that isn't good. Sega needs an adaptor like this https://github.com/screwbreaker/OpenC64MegaDrivePadAdapter to not be an issue. You can even use the 8bitdo M30 with it (I've only tested the 2.4ghz version...don't have the bluetooth one) Then there's https://github.com/djtulan/nunchuk64 which is pretty cool. Don't have one yet myself. There's no doubt more out there that I haven't found yet.
