  • What do you use to write?

Well, I guess I can recommend you my tool, betterwrite.io. I built it to be able to write from any device (and have a professionally printable PDF without having to pay for it).
  • Feedback to Writing Processor for Creative Writing
    2 projects | /r/Writer | 13 May 2023
I'm just a programmer (and a writer in my spare time), and I'm the creator of betterwrite.io, a word processor (like Google Docs, Microsoft Word, Overleaf…) focused on creative writing. The tool brings the possibility of creating chapters, drafts, notes, total customization, real-time collaboration, compatibility with any mobile-desktop-web device, among other features. The main aim is to have, in a single tool, everything necessary for the construction, revision, and finalization of incredible projects.

  • Trouble with turning vue-ionic project to PWA
    1 project | /r/PWA | 2 Jun 2021
It usually does in a new project, but I don't think it does for an existing project. Here's an example of what it would look like. https://github.com/writewithocto/octo/blob/v0.18.0/src/main.js#L13
  • Text Processor PWA?
    2 projects | /r/PWA | 14 May 2021
A little late to the party, but I maintain https://octo.app. It's open source at https://github.com/writewithocto/octo too.
  • Is there an online markdown editor that syncs and is cross platform?
    2 projects | /r/Markdown | 4 May 2021
I'm the developer of octo.app. It's a progressive web app, so you can either install it to your local device (if supported) or just use it through the web browser. It works offline (even in the browser), and you can sign up (for free) with Google, Twitter, or GitHub to sync documents across devices.
  • A Guide to Customizing the Zsh Shell Prompt
    2 projects | dev.to | 11 Mar 2021
I hope this article helped shed some light on the shell prompt syntax. It was a lot of fun to write while experimenting with my own prompt (which you can see at the top of this page). As a final note, I would love to share octo - a hackable, offline-first markdown editor for notes, code snippets, and writing that runs entirely in-browser. It's free and open source, and working on it gives me a lot of ideas and inspiration for the articles I write. Thank you, and happy coding. ✌️
