User to User sharing?
yes indeed it's not possible at the moment and not everyone is happy about that. It will be possible in the future.
-
On what side project you guys are working on?
I'm working on my web app called Benotes which allows you to organize (text) posts and bookmarks.
-
Note-taking app with custom sort that's mobile friendly?
Maybe Benotes is something for you. However it needs to be selfhosted.
-
Is social bookmarking dead?
I use Benotes to organize my bookmarks (and notes), allowing me to add something on the go, while still being able to use it on my desktop. Which is the whole point why I created it in the first place ;)

Run Benotes on Synology NAS
Thank you so much, removing said mount actually solved it and I have it running now! 😊 (I also had to alter the permission for the persistence folder). I've just noticed there's an open issue about how to run Benotes on Synology; I will post a short how-to (Synology-specific step-by-step) there later this evening on the steps necessary to get it to run.

Looking for recommendations (Bookmarks/Links)
Look up benotes :3 pretty happy with it

What's a software you searched to selfhost but is still missing to you ?
I'm using benotes as a replacement for raindrop.io

Note-taking with easy sharing? Any way to share with Joplin?
Perhaps my application called Benotes might be an option for you. You can share collections (=folders) which contain notes (and bookmarks if you want to).

Just started building a home server in my Raspberry Pi 3B+
It's Homepage. It's great for dashboarding, but has a few shortcomings in that you need to secure it behind a reverse proxy, otherwise you'll end up leaking credentials to the whole internet, unless you abstain from using its "connectors".

Just started homelabbing in an old Raspberry Pi 3B+
I use dietpi as os, the dash board is from homepage
- Bookmark manager with a focus on organization?
- Is there a dashboard to list the services I have running?
-
Dashboard for monitoring
I use Homepage. Has integrations with nearly every service I use and it's pretty easy to set up
-
Setting up a local domain
Step 2. Build a Dashboard. There are many options for personal dashboards, but I run Ben Phelps' Homepage in a Docker container. It is fast and simple to configure with YAML files. Here is a screenshot of my home dashboard. Homepage has more features than I use. Any ports needed for your services will be added to the URLs in the Homepage config file. Then, all you need to do is create a bookmark to Homepage in your partner's browser.

It's dashboard Wednesday! And I'm finally content with how mine looks;)
Good to see a dashboard post here that isnt just using Homepage :)

What kind of Alpine user are you?
The control panel is called Homepage. I like it more than Heimdall. To manage Docker I use Portainer.
What are some alternatives?
vue-lumen-starter - 😎 VueJs & Lumen Api Starter.
Heimdall - An Application dashboard and launcher
burnernote - Burner Note is a free, ad-free and open source tool for securely sending text based notes that are encrypted and self destruct once read.
homer-dashboard

Organizr - HTPC/Homelab Services Organizer - Written in PHP
laravel-log-viewer - :dromedary_camel: Laravel log viewer
homarr - Customizable browser's home page to interact with your homeserver's Docker containers (e.g. Sonarr/Radarr)
floccus - :cloud: Sync your bookmarks privately across browsers and devices
Portainer - Making Docker and Kubernetes management easy.
gnothi - Gnothi is an open-source AI journal and toolkit for self-discovery. If you're interested in getting involved, we'd love to hear from you.
