Recommendation for macOS app that will increase the experience on macOS ?
Media Key Forward still works for me reliably but Bearded Spice is also an alternative.

Is there a replacement for Mac Media Key Forwarder or BeardedSpice to properly control Apple Music audio from the Keyboard Media Keys?
There needs to be a way to hard-lock F8 to only operate Apple Music. High Sierra Media Key Enabler, later Mac Media Key Forwarder, used to do this. The GitHub suggest using Bearded Spice. I had been using that last year but it seems it's no longer working and the last update was in 2017.

There is a huge difference between an Apple Magic Mouse and conventional mouse?
Normal mice support is deliberately broken in macOS (so that you consider buying their Magic Mouse), but can be easily fixed with a 3rd party app like Scroll Reverser.

natural scrolling on mac mouse and trackpad
The Scroll Reverser app lets you reverse scrolling for mice while keeping natural scrolling for touchpads.
-
is there any way to make the trackpad and mouse scrolling in opposite directions?
Mouse: I believe this requires 3rd party app, if there is MacOS option for that please enlighten me, I have a Logitech mouse and Logitech software has settings for that but there are other, non-brand specific tools e.g. scroll-reverser (available in brew or here), which BTW can also change behavior of the trackpad if you want those options modified in one place.

Setting lock screen not to turn off the display does fuck all on MacBook Pro 13 M1 2020 running Ventura 13.3.1
Agree on the scroll direction thing (though scroll reverser exists)

This laptop has a trackpad above the keyboard
The sheer fucking arrogance of them telling the consumer which direction they're allowed to scroll their device is why the only Apple product I own is the company-provided Mac which I installed https://github.com/pilotmoon/Scroll-Reverser on to let me use the way I want to use it.
