Not curl, but https://github.com/open-imcore/barcelona may be of interest. The Matrix-iMessage bridge uses and I find it to work quite reliably and quickly.

Insert new data into chat for Messages app
You could look at the value of IMDMessageRecord using this method or the C funcs in the frameworks (IMDMessageRecordCopy*). So what you'll have to do is to recreate IMDChatRecord and IMDMessageRecord struct and call the func above. I didn't test this myself, but this is what iOS used to insert them into the database. Unfortunately I didn't go further enough to figure out those struct. For some IM symbols that were reversed by a project called barcelona, you could look at here.

Just in case anyone does figure this out, maybe the code can help add in-line replies to SMServer, WebMessage, MyMessage, and possibly BlueBubbles.

Any TUI Messages clients?
I love using the command line and anything TUI-related, so I was wondering if anyone knew of a working TUI iMessage client. Searching on GitHub, I've only found imessageclient, but it is clearly not maintained anymore and fails when installing. There are a bunch of other projects that provide CLIs to iMessage, but I thought that a full TUI could be cool.
