AlloyDB Omni – run AlloyDB anywhere
Google Cloud gets a lot of heat because of Google's legacy of killing things off (the exact opposite of what enterprise decision makers want when selecting a cloud platform).
But I have to applaud Google for the excellent first party emulators and local tooling that they provide (Alloy Omni doesn't seem like an emulator on first readthrough, but enabling fast local iteration has the same effect). The Firebase emulator suite makes development soooo fast because it cuts out a deployment step to a shared resource that has to be coordinated.
Meanwhile, Microsoft as been dragging their feet on supporting CosmosDB emulation on Arm hardware [0]. I was a big fan of CosmosDB, but kind of gave up on it after switching to an M1 MBP because it was unwieldy to work with without a local emulator.

How to tune Dapr bulk publish/subscribe for maximum throughput
Changing this setting did not make the warning completely go away. As Alessandro Segala states in this issue : "This happens because when it's time to renew the locks, at the interval, we "snapshot" the active messages and then renew each one's lock in sequence. If you have a high number for maxActiveMessages, it takes time for the component to renew the locks for each one, and if the app has ACK'd the message in the meanwhile, then the lock renewal fails."

istributed Application Runtime (Dapr) v1.10 Released
Microsoft introduced Dapr in October 2019 and has had several releases since its production-ready release V1.0 in February 2021. Since the V1.0 release, Dapr has been approved by Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) as an incubation project, received approximately 43 new components, and has over 2500 community contributors.

Vulnerability Management for Go
This is super helpful for me as a Dapr maintainer (we have a ton of third party integrations we compile into our binary). Found and upgraded a vulnerable dependency and then quickly added this check to our CI/CD workflow.
