Real time streaming platform built on AWS using Terraform
Hello! Below you can find my public Github repository, which focusing on how we can use managed services such as Amazon Kinesis to handle our incoming data analytics streams from our sources while AWS handles the undifferentiated heavy lifting of managing the infrastructure. Our purpose is to create a real time streaming service, built on AWS using Terraform, where we produce payment transactions, which are pushed to AWS Kinesis Data stream, are stored into AWS S3 for cold storage via AWS Kinesis Firehose, and a AWS Lambda detects anomalies in payment transactions (in payment amount > 1000) stores these anomalies to a RDS database and notifies user via email. https://github.com/eldimious/real_time_streaming_analytics
What are some alternatives?
When comparing aws-cloud-gaming and real_time_streaming_analytics you can also consider the following projects:
terraform-k3s-private-cloud - Private cluster with k3s. Why have 1 huge complicated cluster (pet) when you can have many simple, cheap clusters (cattle)?
nodejs-leak-env-vars - POC of a vulnerable app leaking environment variables via a compromised NPM package
terraform_ec2_spot_instance - Use terraform to create an AWS EC2 spot instance
cloudblock - Cloudblock deploys secure ad-blocking and VPN for all devices. Text and video guides included! 6 supported cloud providers, plus Ubuntu and Raspberry Pi. Cloudblock deploys Wireguard VPN, Pi-Hole DNS Ad-blocking, and DNS over HTTPS in a cloud provider - or locally - using Terraform and Ansible.
