Is there a desktop distro for the RISC-V boards like the Mango Pi MQ-Pro D1?
I have a MangoPi MQ Pro. I can't recommend anybody use this chip for desktop use. It makes a great little computer to build something out of, low power. But a single core @ 1Ghz just isn't enough power for most desktops. I haven't tried any desktops on it yet, but just logging in with SSH is slow tbh. Something like the Visionfive 2 on kickstarter right now, although more expensive, would make a much better desktop machine with a quad core. https://github.com/boosterl/awesome-mango-pi-mq-pro That is one of the better resources I have found for the board so far. I'm not sure if any of the OS images that are out right now include a desktop environment but I would like to imagine with a little bit of elbow grease at least Arch would have something in the repos to mess around with.
