avalanche-faucet VS avalanche-wallet

To get a "drip" of AVAX Fuji faucet, you can paste your address into the Fuji faucet website. The faucet will send some AVAX to the address and return a transaction ID (txID), which can be used Fuji Testnet Explorer to learn more about the transaction.

I switched 2 years ago for any testing to Avalanche as their Faucet offers 2 AVAX per 24 hours and their Fuji testnet is much faster than any other EVM testnet: https://faucet.avax.network/

You can also integrate a new Subnet on the live faucet with just a few lines of configuration parameters. All you have to do is make a PR on the Avalanche Faucet git repository with the Subnet's information. The following parameters are required.

The C-Chain address (0x86BB07a534ADF43786ECA5Dd34A97e3F96927e4F ) is the one which can be used to fund your key from the faucet. The command also prints P-Chain addresses for both the default local network and Fuji . The latter (P-fuji1a3azftqvygc4tlqsdvd82wks2u7nx85rhk6zqh ) is the one needed for this tutorial.

I am also struggling a bit here. Long time wallet.avax.network user with Ledger. Haven't really tried core yet, but I guess I will need to. Is there there an official time where we should definitely not use wallet.avax.network?

Wait what??? Core app can't see P or X, then what use is it? Why are people moving away from wallet.avax.network ?

This doesn't sound plausible. However, I have heard wallet.avax.network will be deprecated in Jan 2024

I used to have C-Chain balance shown on my Ledger, but now I started staking my AVAX on the P-Chain through the wallet.avax.network website. Is there a way to show my P-Chain staked account on Ledger? I don't know if Ledger is still working on it or I'm just not smart enough to figure it out.

You can use wallet.avax.network to set up a node or delegate.

I've also heard a lot of great things about AVAX too like EVM Support, Subnets, and how staking is easy. I'm not sure if I should get an AVAX Wallet for staking instead of using my Trust Wallet though.

Over the course of the last year ever since delegating, my web wallet at wallet.avax.network has shown a zero balance. I figured maybe that 0 balance was the case since the AVAX was locked and delegated and that when the delegation expired it would return to my wallet.
