A pass extension for managing one-time-password (OTP) tokens
Authy totp tokens can be exported from Authy using https://github.com/alexzorin/authy
Just use the totp token as the first entry in the password file, and "pass otp " will generate an otp. Very convenient.

Dear F-droid users, what are the "must have apps" in 2022 ?
There's project that can export Authy tokens for you to import in Aegis. And every time you add a new token, just scan the QR code with both Authy and Aegis, they are back up for each other (so in case one of them stops working you can use the other one). Authy is also great if you have devices other than Android (Windows, iPhone/iPad, etc.)

Should you use Let's Encrypt for internal hostnames?
I'm biased because I'm the founder of the company, but you should check out the certificate management toolchain (CA[1] and CLI[2]) we've built at smallstep. A big focus of the project is human-friendliness. It's not perfect (yet) but I think we've made some good progress.
We also have a hosted option[3] with a free tier that should work for individuals, homelabs, pre-production, and even small production environments. We've started building out a management UI there, and it does map to the CLI as you've described :).
