Why don't more people use YouTube Music when it has a bigger song library than Spotify?
I also really like the external tools/websites you can use with spotify, like /r/RVRB or AudioBand, that alone is going to keep me with Spotify unless something else gets significantly better.

Spotify widget alternatives
Prior to switching to Windows 11 today, I would use the Audioband application quite a bit to be able to see what song is currently playing on my spotify. I'm currently loving Windows 11 right now, but this is the one thing that I've been missing. Does anyone know of any good alternatives, either native to the OS or not? Doesn't even have to be constantly visible really; If it's as simple as opening the action center, I'd be extremely happy with that.

Nice! I made a similar app about 10 years ago for iTunes: https://github.com/74hc595/Currentsong
Had a lot of the same features (like the scrolling marquee), but I just built it as a personal project, never put it on the app store or anything like that. I don’t even know if it’ll build or run on modern macOS, but it’s still on github if you want to see some fossilized Objective-C code :p
