New release: [Linux on ASUSTOR] asustor-platform-driver
Well, today I'm happy to announce that I'm releasing the asustor-platform-driver. It's a Linux kernel platform driver (module) for ASUSTOR NAS hardware (for controlling leds and buttons).

Using Unraid on AS5304T
There are some issues getting heat sensors, fan speed and LEDS working (and the LCD display on higher end Asustor models). This person seems to have closest to getting it all working: https://github.com/mafredri/asustor_as-6xxt

New release: [Linux on ASUSTOR] asustor-platform-driver
Why? I've been running Linux on ASUSTOR NAS(es) for many years and spent countless hours researching and reverse-engineering the hardware. I've previously shared some of my work in an unorganized manner in the asustor_as-6xxt repo but this felt insufficient. It's Christmas time so I wanted to get a bit more familiar with the Linux kernel tree, to share my work and hopefully bring a smile to someones face.

Is is possible to run other OS instead of ADM (Intel NAS models)?
I just found this https://github.com/mafredri/asustor_as-6xxt so it should be possible but it's kind of a mess as well... I'll probably stick to my own hardware build, it's not worth the hassle and Asustor devices aren't cheap either.
