arduino-kicad-library VS TimerInterrupt

Compare arduino-kicad-library vs TimerInterrupt and see what are their differences.

TimerInterrupt

This library enables you to use Interrupt from Hardware Timers on an Arduino, such as Nano, UNO, Mega, etc. It now supports 16 ISR-based timers, while consuming only 1 hardware Timer. Timers' interval is very long (ulong millisecs). The most important feature is they're ISR-based timers. Therefore, their executions are not blocked by bad-behaving functions or tasks. This important feature is absolutely necessary for mission-critical tasks. (by khoih-prog)

The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Yeah, I really struggled with the timing as well. I found the best solution possible on the Nano to be using timer interrupts via this excellent library: https://github.com/khoih-prog/TimerInterrupt

What are some alternatives?

When comparing arduino-kicad-library and TimerInterrupt you can also consider the following projects:

Flipper-Zero-Sub-GHz-Jamming-Files - Looking for those jamming files that were removed from custom firmwares? Here they are. Only for educational purposes, of course.

ESP32_C3_TimerInterrupt - This library enables you to use Interrupt from Hardware Timers on an ESP32-C3-based board. These ESP32-C3 Hardware Timers, using Interrupt, still work even if other functions are blocking. Moreover, they are much more precise (certainly depending on clock frequency accuracy) than other software timers using millis() or micros(). That's mandatory if you need to measure some data requiring better accuracy. It now supports 16 ISR-based Timers, while consuming only 1 Hardware Timer. Timers' interval is very long (ulong millisecs). The most important feature is they're ISR-based Timers. Therefore, their executions are not blocked by bad-behaving functions or tasks. This important feature is absolutely necessary for mission-critical tasks.

lgt8fx - Board Package for Logic Green LGT8F328P LGT8F328D and LGT8F88D

RP2040_RTC - This library enables you to use RTC from RP2040-based boards such as Nano_RP2040_Connect, RASPBERRY_PI_PICO. This RP2040-based RTC, using Interrupt, has no battery backup. Time will be lost when powered down. To need NTP-client to update RTC every start-up.
